Just thought I’d add some extra helpful tips to new users:
Side note for the blacklist tags/trigger warning tags: the only “tiktok-ified” tags we really have are for nsfw content (not that we can post much nsfw content on this site anyways because of the tumblr ban, but we can still write nsfw posts), if you wanna tag something as nsfw I recommend using the following tags because these are what most tumblr users use (from what I’ve seen) to tag their nsfw posts: n/sfw, n/s/f/w, n/sft, n/s/f/t (or literally just spell out “not safe for work” or “not safe for tumblr”)
If there is sensitive content in your post that could be on someone’s blacklist (ie. blood, gore, body horror, etc.) you can use the tag “tw” (example: tw body horror) or you just can just put “potential trigger warning” or “trigger warning” in the tags of your post
On the tumblr app, there’s a little button shaped like 2 people on the bottom right corner of the toolbar (I forget where this is located on the computer website), you can also use that to label your post as “mature” so minors won’t be able to see it and adults can choose to see it if they wish
Also, just like most social media platforms these days, we do have minors using this site, so please be mindful of that

I never used to leave comments but since I got into the habit of commenting on everything i enjoy it’s been incredible. Especially when the author gets back to me about it and we get to have a discussion of what other ideas they had. One writer replied to my comment with a 5 paragraph essay detailing the Floorplan of the building the characters lived in and it was incredible
Anyways this is all to say that if you find a fic that just makes you want to scream from the rooftops, leave a comment saying that to the author and maybe they will join you and you can scream incoherently together
